Rochas Okorocha Declares 2-Week Holiday In Imo State
The Governor Of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha Has Announced that there will be a 2-week holiday for workers In Imo State.
Sam Onwuemeodo, Chief Press Secretary to Okorocha, released a statement saying civil servants should vacate work on Friday, December 22, 2017, and resume Monday, January 8, 2018.
Salaries to December have been paid, he said, and the holiday gives them enough time to celebrate with their loved ones. He said:
Government has paid salary to workers in the state up to December to enable them also enjoy the Christmas. This is to wish them a blissful yuletide.
