“We Are Ready For War” – Nnamdi Kanu Says
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has lamented on the attempted genocide on the Igbos by President Buhari and added that the people of Biafra will not relent in their agitation for secession even it means another war.
The IPOB leader spoke exclusively to E Magazine Nigeria. He raised an alarm saying that his right to movement has been denied him as his home is currently under siege by security operatives.
“These soldiers have been loitering around my home since Tuesday and have laid siege on my residence. They even fired several gun shots at my home endangering the lives of my family.
” If the president thinks he can subdue the people of Biafra with these, then he must be completely out of his mind. We will not stop till we get what we want. We will not.
“These soldiers have killed many of our people. Innocent civilians have been murdered and they expect us to keep quiet. We will not. If they want war we will give it to them squarely.”
Nnamdi Kanu said that he shall continue to update the world on the casualty figures as the unprovoked war declared on the unarmed members of indigenous people of Biafra, in the south east, by the federal government continues.
