Mom stabs baby, dumps body in waste bin
A 26-year-old mom has been arrested following the death of her newborn baby girl.
The Police found the newborn baby’s body in the kitchen waste bin and a post-mortem examination later revealed that she died from multiple stab wounds.
This incident was said to have taken place in Burnley, Lancashire, England.
But the suspected mother has been arrested and is being charged with her daughter’s murder.
She is said to be called Rachel Tunstill, a graduate of the University of Lancashire appeared depressed and wept uncontrollably in court.
Police said she did not enter a plea and was remanded into custody. A trial date has been set for June 7.
Man cut mother’s head for catching him rapping his daughter
A 36-year-old man who is thought to be the baby’s father was released without charge after the Police said they were “completely satisfied” he had no involvement in the newborn baby’s death.
It was confusion-galore as a 36-years-old man, named Segun, accused of raping his own daughter cut off his mother’s head.
This took place in Edo State on Friday,as an eye witness narrated how Segun, when confronted by the youths, who were on a search party after news of the headless body of the old woman was found dumped within the neighbourhood.
“He was seen with his mother’s severed head fresh in his bag, on his way out to unknown destination. We were disturbed that a man whose mother was killed a few hours ago could be going out, and on questioning him, he started fighting and wounded two of the young men.
“But we resisted him and later found his mother’s head in the bag. On further inquiry, Segun confessed having a quarrel with his mother over her allegation that he raped his teenage girl. ”
Another witness said there had been different occasions when he had threatened that he would kill his mother until her catching him red-handed abusing his daughter whose mother he had divorced.
The Police spokesman in the area could not be reached as all effort at hearing from the state police Commissioner failed.
