How brothel owner was burnt alive by prostitutes in Ekiti over pension, savings
What was a successful business venture by, brothel, had led it’s owner, Olayode Samuel, to meet his untimely death, even by being burnt alive.
According to an eye witness, Samuel was attacked by a group of ladies, suspected to be prostitutes under his supervision for failing to pay them agreed pension on their retirement.
The angry ladies were alleged to have, after attacking the brother’s owner dispossessed him of his possession on the excuse that the deceased had refused to pay them agreed pension.
The attack took place in Odo Owa community in Ijero Local Government Area in Ekiti state.
According to the witness said the initial report was that the retired soldier-turneed brothel owner man was tied on a steel bed by some ladies disguising as robbers and setting his body ablaze.
But preliminary findings by the police indicated that the victim was attacked by the prostitutes, who he gave out some of his rooms to for their business.
The Ekiti State Police Public Relations Officer, Alberto Adeyemi, said Samuel was attacked by women of easy virtues that rented some rooms from him.
“They dispossessed him of the money and tied him to a bed in the house. Neighbours were not aware of this until his body started decomposing.
“We are on the trail of the suspects and would ensure they are brought to justice.”
